PREVENTATIVE EDUCATION : We provide advice on multiple topics such as reproductive health and gender. We also assist in bringing proper treatment to victims of sexual harassment, drugs, domestic violence, cybercrimes, human trafficking, and so on. We have professional experience in introducing preventative education programs to people of ethnic minorities, schools, factories, etc.
PROSTITUTE OUTREACH PROGRAM: Our trained social workers reach out to women and adolescents practicing sexual solicitation from public places such as streets, parks, karaoke bars, coffee shops, cafes. AAT offers support on mental and physical health through education about safe sex practice (e.g. frequent use of condoms when practicing sex to avoid risks of STDs) and financial knowledge (e.g. vocational training, micro loans).
WOMEN PROTECTION:AAT works in Vietnam and expands its activities to the end-countries of human trafficking as well. Our people identify the victims, rescue, protect and implement proper measures to repatriate women and children under safety regulations and utmost respect for human rights. AAT provides services of readaptation and reintegration for the rescued through micro loan programs, through which the money is spent on vocational training or establishing small businesses to lift women up from precarity.
Due to their special backgrounds and social relations, younger girls such as daughters and young sisters of women involved in prostitution face higher risks of early exposure to sex, sexual abuse, and sex trafficking. AAT follows them up by providing school aid and other training activities related to life skills and sex-related risks.
