Our role is to accelerate the process, insure that victims will be treated properly, and especially to deter all means of re-trafficking upon arrival. We insure that their confidentiality will be respected, and they will not be prosecuted as illegal migrants in host countries. AAT also helps to develop repatriation mechanisms between origin and destination countries by supporting embassies and relevant agencies for repatriation. AAT also does follow-up of those after return.

After the women and minors are back in their country, AAT works to efficiently build their future according to their choices. At the same time, AAT encourages them to be involved in preventing and protecting their own communities. We prepare women (health recovery, life skills, education, career and empowerment development), their families and communities beforehand to ensure a successful reintegration. In a second stage, we support reintegration through employment and micro business opportunities. Lastly, we encourage women to develop community actions aimed to prevent and protect themselves and their peers. The reintegration process is fully implemented into the communities. Recovery/reintegration centers are also available for those in need.
