We disseminate information on risk behaviors and create protective environments in communities. We teach women and minors how to enforce their basic rights in order to protect themselves. We identify missing or potential victims and offer them assistance and protection while they are still in transit stage before reaching their final destination. The program is directed at women and minors in general, those living in communities at risks (borders and mountainous areas), and the most vulnerable ones such as- stateless, foreign detainees, former victims, prostitutes, etc.
AAT protection activities consist of protecting at-risk groups and victims from situations of exploitation, to eventually transferring them to appropriate environments. We developed mechanisms to identify and protect victims alongside law enforcement agencies and/or other relevant organizations. We support law enforcement agencies to investigate and arrest offenders. We help develop protection mechanisms in order to strengthen the victim identification process. We encourage victim protection and suppression in border areas. We support embassies in protecting and supporting their own citizens. |
