Alliance Anti Trafic (AAT) works to protect Southeast Asian women and children from sexual exploitation through direct field actions implemented by using a regional approach.

The Alliance Anti Traffic project was foundes to establish a legal structure and a dynamic team to coordinate the network activities in South East Asia.

AAT was created after consultation and analyses of projects done in the field.
Alliance Anti Trafic offers the competences to the regional network in Southeast Asia and participates in strengthening the capacity and the quality of actions implemented against causes and consequences of human trafficking for sex slavery.

AAT participates to establish or reinforce mechanisms of projects implemented by: Non Governmental Organizations or International Non Governmental Organization, and community based actions with relevant projects.
Depending on the needs, AAT can develop further necessary activities.

 

 

 

Our interventions cover:
• Community based reintegration programs in Laos, Cambodia and Vietnam.
• We established and run the 2 national rehabilitation centers of Vietnam.
• 1 social enterprise in Vietnam.
• Operational protection systems in several communities at risk for prevention, watchdog and information on victims of trafficking are active in several areas
• Actions in several immigration detention centers, Juvenile Delinquency Centers and jails in Thailand.
• We developed channels with Malaysia for protection and repatriation.
• We developed repatriation mechanisms with countries such as Malaysia, Vietnam, Cambodia and Laos: As an example: We repatriated officially the first Vietnamese women victims of trafficking between Thailand and Vietnam.
With our actions in Malaysia, we also repatriated the first Vietnamese cases from Malaysia to Vietnam.

Our involvement in the regional anti-trafficking mechanisms:
• We have officially signed the partnership with the National Lao Women Union for joined project in Lao PDR.
• We have officially signed the partnership with the National Women Union of Vietnam, the provincial Women Union of Ho Chi Minh city and Can Tho, and the Ministry of Labor, Invalid and Social Affair of Vietnam (MOLISA) for joined projects in Vietnam.
• We are the member of the National Action Plan against trafficking of Thailand.
• We are the advisor of the Royal Thai Police concerning women and children issues.
• We are the advisor of the governor of Chonburi province (Patthaya) concerning women and children issues.
• We are the member of the MoU against trafficking of the region: South, Northeast, Center, East, West of Thailand.
• We are the member of the committee against trafficking of Songkhla and Mukdahan province.
• We are the member of the committee on health collaboration between Mukdahan and Sawannakhet (Laos).
• We are the advisors of the National Commission of Human Rights of Thailand concerning women and children protection matters.
