Fair Fashion Garment Factory (social enterprise)
AAT opened a garment factory (Fair Fashion) in Ho Chi Minh City in 2004 to provide sewing training to beneficiaries of the reintegration project. The goal was to create employment for residents while developing a unique and sustainable social enterprise where employees and working conditions are of primary importance (Beneficiary-Centered Based Approach). Fair Fashion has grown day after day, and currently the factory produces annually over 12.000 high quality pieces of clothing exported to various continents. Presently, Fair Fashion supports not only former sexually exploited women, but also other women in difficult circumstances. Furthermore, it cooperates with well-known fashion designers from Vietnam and abroad to strengthen its design, quality and international marketing. Fair Fashion plans to expand its activities and production capacity in the upcoming years.
